Export Company Reports into DOC, PDF, PPT

Written by Kruncher | September 16, 2025

Other than viewing the reports inside Kruncher, you can also export the reports into these file formats to have a local copy of:

  • Word Document (.docx)
  • Portable Document Format (.pdf)
  • PowerPoint Presentation (.pptx)

To export, go inside a company report.

In the left tab, open up the Export tab. It will expand to:

  • Download PPT
  • Download DocX
  • Generate Export

Other than different file formats, you can also export the entire report or only selected sections.

1. Exporting the Entire Report

The first three options will export the entire report into its selected format. Simply click one of the three options and your export will start downloading immediately.

Here are some examples:

Export as PDF or DOCX

Export as PPT

2. Exporting Selected Sections Only

To get a more focused or limited document, you can export only specific sections of the report into Word document (.docx) or a presentation file (.pptx)

Other file formats are coming soon.

Select "Generate Report" and you will see template options to get started.

As an example, let's select Company Quick Summary (5 Slides).

From here, you can customize and select the information that Kruncher will make as pages/slides (used interchangeably in this article), and what each slide contains.

First, select the format that you to export into.

You can also rename the name of this template if you wish.

In the Document Outline, it details each slide and its contents.

Slide Title: The title/header of the slide.

Slide Prompt Points: Instruct Kruncher on what this slide should contain. Click "Add New Line" to enter more prompts, or click X on each point to remove that prompt.

Content: Choose between "Write with AI" to let Kruncher summarize content from the company report, or "Generate only a placeholder" to let Kruncher just copy and paste the data inside the report without doing any summarization/changes.

This template has 5 pre-made slides, but you can add more slides by clicking + Add Slide at the bottom. You can also remove slides by clicking on the red trash can icon on the bottom right corner of each slide.

Other than the contents of each slide, you can customize Kruncher's overall approach to generating the slides in Advanced Customization:

Company Cover: Indicate whether you want the report to have a cover page or not.

Table of Contents: Indicate whether you want the report to have a table of contents or not.

Amount of Text: Indicate the level of information density the generated report will contain. Choose between Minimal, Concise, Detailed, or Extensive.

Reference: Choose how the references will display, in either Footnotes in each slide, or as End Notes all in the last slides of the report. You can also choose to not include on references.

Add Images: Choose whether you'd like to include images in the generated report or not.

Add Custom Instructions: Tell Kruncher specific formatting rules you would like, for example: Write content only in bullet points, with each bullet point containing no longer than 10 words.

Once everything is to your liking, click "Generate Document" at the bottom to let Kruncher start generating your custom report.

You can also make the slide prompts and configurations as a template for you to use in the future. Click "Save As a New Template" and your saved template will appear when you want to generate a new custom report.

IMPORTANT: As this feature is currently in Beta, it does not cost credits to run this operation.

Wait for the document to finish generating. Once done, click on it.

You will see a preview of what the slides will look like.

Click Export to download.
